As many of you know, there has been a proliferation of counterfeit bicycle frames of late, emanating mainly from Asia. Unfortunately, and like many other leading European brands,
Time has not been immune to this unwanted competition. To slow down the sale of these bogus frames and uphold the brand’s otherwise impeccable image (despite the mountain of legal and bureaucratic red tape involved), Time’s legal services department has taken action against these falsifying entities who serve only to damage the company’s reputation.
It is paramount to remind network distributors that Time’s RTM production process is unique and exclusive and is carried only at installations in Vaulx-Milleu (France). None of Time’s current models is made in Asia; thus, any bicycle frame that does not emerge from the official distribution network is suspect of being an imitation.
